Y9 History Trip to Ironbridge

On Wednesday 18th October a group of Y9s went to Ironbridge to learn more about the Industrial Revolution.

We saw the process of ironmaking and the products created as well as how they were transported across the globe. We saw how the Darbys, the owners, lived and how their quaker faith influenced their decisions.

We also went to Blists Hill to see how people lived by the end of the Industrial revolution – the chip shop was a massive hit!
