GCSE Mathematics helps students develop a knowledge and understanding of problem solving, reasoning, applying Mathematics in context and the functional elements of Mathematics. It will allow learners to develop and refine their problem solving strategies and build the confidence and skills required to tackle unfamiliar challenges. It prepares learners to function mathematically in the world and provides a thorough grounding for further study in Mathematics.
