GSA Donation to SYC

We’d like to thank Sophie from Sandwell Young Carers for visiting us to collect a donation of sanitary products for use in their Young Carers Centre.

Sophie said: “We are extremely grateful to George Salter Academy for thinking of our Young Carers and for making such a thoughtful and practical donation.

For some of the young carers we support, having access to essential products like these can make a real difference. Young carers already have so much to think about and manage, and having these items available can help take away an additional worry and ensure they have one less thing to think about.

Most importantly, donations like this help our young carers feel supported, valued and cared for. It is a simple but incredibly meaningful way of showing them that their needs are recognised and that their community is there to support them.
