RE: Transition from ClassCharts to the Arbor Parent App
Dear Parent/Carer,
We are writing to inform you of an important update on how we communicate with parents and carers at George Salter Academy.
From Wednesday 1st July we will no longer be using ClassCharts. Instead, we will be moving to the Arbor Parent App, which will become our primary platform for communication and access to key information about your child.
The Arbor Parent App will provide you with a range of features, including:
– Access to your child’s attendance information
– Behaviour updates
– Key school communications and messages
– Access to important school information in one place
This change will allow us to streamline communication and provide a more integrated and efficient service for families.
What you need to do:
To ensure you can access the Arbor Parent App, please:
– Download the Arbor Parent App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
– In order to sign up to the app, you will need to use the email address that the school hold on record for you. If you would like to update your email, then please follow the link

– Follow the instructions sent to your email to set up your account
You will receive further instructions on Wednesday 1st July via email to help you get started, including guidance on logging in and using the app.
We appreciate your support during this transition and are confident that the Arbor Parent App will improve communication between school and home.
