Support Staff positions

Cleaner – 15 hours per week, 52 weeks per year; SCP8 - £6,181 pa

cleaner advert iconWe are seeking to appoint a part time cleaner at George Salter Academy. The main responsibilities will include general cleaning duties, such as vacuuming, dusting, polishing, mopping, cleaning toilets and other related cleaning tasks, as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.

The hours of work are 3.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year. The successful candidates must be reliable and able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Exams Invigilator – casual, as required; SCP 11; £8.19 per hour

exams invigilator advert iconWe are seeking to recruit casual exam invigilators who can promote a supportive atmosphere for all of our students during their examinations.  Hours worked will be variable including early starts and on a demand basis, flexibility is essential.

Duties will include the preparation of rooms prior to the start of exams, distribution and collection of scripts and the supervision of candidates.

Training will be provided to successful candidates, and experience is not essential but would be advantageous.
